About Webs 4 Everyone and Our Qualifications

My wife, Susan, and I have well over 20 years in the software development business. Each! Susan is an Oracle database developer and I am, well, a jack of all trades. I've done application development, web development and database development of all sorts. Susan was a victim of downsizing and 9/11. I decided to pursue the life of an artist for a few years (see image at bottom left). But hey, that didn't pay the bills and, besides, I started getting the itch again (you developers know what I'm talking about).

One of the problems with most web sites that has irked me for years is the lack of accessibility for people with disabilities. So I decided that any websites that I develop were going to be as friendly to the disabled as possible. As I dug deeply into what that meant I realized that making a web site accessible had the side effect of making it more search engine friendly and less costly to maintain. So that's how our tag line, (U)sable, (S)earchable, (A)ccessible came about. I'm sure you haven't missed the significance of the acronym formed by that mantra. If you have any doubts about making your website accessible see my writeup about the market potential created by accessible websites.
